I was amazed at how well I was able to picture the entire story. I loved the details that the author used – there was never any questions or doubts as I was reading because the author made sure to make everything crystal clear (like the water there). It was peaceful and so full of detail that I could actually picture myself in Hawaii. The setting in which the book is based is in Hawaii and it felt like the white sand beaches, rolling waves and bright blue skies were with me as I was reading this in the dark winter of NJ. You will be plotting and planning the next step for the characters long after you have finished reading this one.
I am glad that I am not the one who has to choose if it will be #TeamSam or #TeamAsia because there is no way I could choose. Max, Sam and Asia are three very different characters, yet they are all united by love – the author makes the reader love all of them and even I couldn’t give you a straight answer about which one I liked best – this is a love triangle that will leave you with a book hangover so huge it will take lots of books afterwards before you can think of moving on. The author did an amazing job with bringing everything to life for the reader and I need the next book in the series NOW!! I can’t believe the cliffhanger that he left us with and I need to know what happens next! I loved it! I loved everything about this book ~ the characters, the story, the plot, the love triangle, the losses and even the setting. It was fast and it was fun and it was an amazing ride. I felt like I was on a roller coaster as I read this book, the twists, turns, plunges, highs, lows and drops never stopped. This book was the first book that I have read by Author Madison Daniel, but it will not be the last! He is a new to me author and I am glad that I have found him!! This story grabbed my attention from the very first paragraph and it never let go.
